Super Eagles coach Peseiro tips better-than-Mbappe Osimhen to end up at Manchester United or Real Madrid

Nigerian striker is Africa’s most valuable player and number one striker in Serie A

Super Eagles head coach Jose Peceiro believes Napoli striker Victor Osimhen will eventually move to one of the biggest clubs in the world, Soccernet.ng reported.

Osimhen was due to leave Napoli in the summer after the most fulfilling season of his career, which culminated in him winning the Scudetto.

However, Osimhen remained at Napoli despite reported interest from PSG, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and even Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal.

However, relations between Osimhen and Napoli have deteriorated in recent days following an ugly Tiktok episode that gave the Nigerian striker a bad impression and for which the club refused to apologize.

Napoli are yet to convince Osimhen to extend his contract, so the former Lille striker could leave the club in one of the next two transfer windows.

The Premier League is Osimhen’s dream destination, but La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, as well as French champions PSG, have the resources to sign the 24-year-old.

Peseiro has no doubt that Osimhen has what it takes to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“I’m sure Osimhen will end up in one of the best teams in Europe. According to French Football Weekly, he could play for any top team: Madrid, Bayern, United or City.” Peseiro said in an interview with AS.

Peseiro also believes that Osimhen is one of the players who could take over if Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi leave.

Ronaldo and Messi have been arguably two of the greatest players in the history of soccer over the past 20 years, but both are in their 30s and are in the final days of their careers in Saudi Arabia and the United States .

Many predict Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé as the likely successors to Ronaldo and Messi.

But for Peseiro, Osimhen is ahead of Mbappe in the race to take over the baton from Ronaldo and Messi.

When asked if Osimhen could be the successor to Messi and Ronaldo, the Portuguese coach said: I don’t know if that will go into his head.

“He has different qualities than, say, Mbappe.” After the battle between Cristiano and Messi is over, it is unclear who is better. Someone will. Osimhen can fight for that. ”

Peseiro clearly explained why he believes Odimchen is a world-class attacker.

“He’s a star because he has the ability to score goals, fight and put pressure on,” Peseiro said.

“He is a very strong player offensively. He puts a lot of pressure on defenders. He has strength, aggression, speed, power, and he has purpose. I’m obsessed with scoring goals.”

Osimhen scored 31 goals in all competitions for Napoli last season and has already scored five goals in Serie A this season.
