‘It’s Been Three World Cups, I’m Used To It Now’

Yuzvendra Chahal “feels bad” at missing out on a 2023 World Cup spot, but is determined to “move on” and work hard to return to the India team.

Wisden India, Chahal spoke about the disappointment of not being able to participate in the 2023 World Cup, which will be held only in India. Chahal did not make it to India’s final 15 squad, which was decided on September 28.

“My understanding is that only 15 players will be able to participate because the World Cup cannot accommodate 17 or 18 players,” Chahal told Wisden India earlier this week.
