Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) announced on Tuesday (6 February) that it will host Team India in a T20I series later this year. ZIM vs IND 2024 T20I series will consist of five matches for him and will be held in July immediately after the completion of theT20 World Cup.
The World Championship is scheduled to end on June 29th, but the series will run from July 6th to 14th. All five matches of the ZIM vs IND series will be played in Harare. ZC acknowledged the series and said that this series he will strengthen bilateral relations between the two cricket associations.
“The confirmation of this tour is the result of productive discussions between ZC and BCCI, with the main objective of strengthening bilateral relations and promoting the spirit of cooperation between both cricket boards. ” said a release from ZC.
The last time an Indian team visited Zimbabwe was in 2022. We played a three-match ODI series against an African country in August 2022. KL Rahul led the second team on the tour where India won all three matches in a row. India and Zimbabwe last faced each other in his T20 World Cup in November 2022.
ZC Chairman Tabengwa Mkhulani said, “We are delighted to be hosting the T20I series in India in July. This will be the biggest international attraction in the country this year.”

The series begins on July 6th, with the second game taking place the following day. The third match of ZIM and IND T20I will be played on July 10 and the last two matches will be played on July 13 and 14 respectively. There is a possibility that the second Indian team will visit Zimbabwe as the series will be held immediately after his T20 World Cup.
