With just two more Super Fours matches to go in the Asia Cup, here is how the qualification scenarios stand for Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the only two teams left in contention for a Finals berth alongside India.
In a thrilling low-scoring match at the R Premadasa Stadium on September 12, India registered a 41-run victory over Sri Lanka and booked their place in the finals of the 2023 Asia Cup. This result also means that Bangladesh has qualified for the final. Having lost his first two matches, he is now out of the qualifying race.

Qualification scenarios
Sri Lanka and Pakistan are tied on 2 points each and currently occupy 2nd and 3rd place in the Super 4 table due to Sri Lanka’s higher net run rate (-0.2) compared to Pakistan (-1.892). I am. Since both teams only have one match left for him, the equation becomes very simple.
The team that wins the match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on September 14th will secure a place alongside India in the final, making the tournament a de facto semi-final.
