India’s young opener Shubman Gill believes the Indian team has reached its peak in time for the ODI World Cup on home soil. The Men in Blue performed consistently well in his 2023 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka, completely dominating his first two matches of his three ODI series against Australia.

As for innings, Gill said he usually takes turns at bat depending on the match situation, but believes he can match his scoring rate once he settles into the middle innings.
