Of the 10 wickets taken by Taijul, two were from Kane Williamson. It didn’t take long for the referee on the field to raise his finger. Williamson was hesitant to watch the review, but he saw the replay and immediately went to watch it. The score was reduced to 19-2 after 10 overs, but this was New Zealand’s second wicket to fall in their second innings.

This is not the first time Taijul has removed one of Test cricket’s famous ‘Fab Four’. In fact, Taijul has dismissed Joe Root in the 2016 Mirpur Test, Steve Smith twice in the 2017 Chittagong Test, and Virat Kohli twice (2017 and 2022). He completed a quartet with Williamson’s wicket in Tests. p >
