Pakistan’s bowlers were clearly frustrated as the Indian batsmen showed no mercy. After Virat Kohli ran away with 16 (18), Shreyas Iyer came close to the crease at number four. As Rauf tried to trot out the second bat, Rohit singled the first bat and handed the bat to his partner. Shreyas scored his third consecutive score.

On the fourth ball of the over, Rauf reached a speed of 140 kmph. Shreyas hit the ball back to Rauf from the inside half of his bat. The Pakistan pacer bowled the ball full force to keeper Rizwan even though Shreyas stayed inside his crease. The right-handed pitcher was frightened by the return ball and moved away from the ball. The incident caused Narendra Modi’s stadium crowd to go wild, with 132,000 spectators booing Rauf.
