India’s eleven has limited part-time bowling options, with no batsmen among the top five bowlers playing regularly. Previously, Virat Kohli and Rohit were used from time to time, but both he did not bowl a single delivery in an ODI for over six years.
Rohit has won eight ODI scalps including Michael Clarke, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy (twice) and Chris Gayle. He also has two Test wickets and one wicket in T20I.
