Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi shared a fun moment with his Leicester City teammate, Ghanaian winger Abdul Fattaw Isahak, on social media, reports Soccernet.ng.

Isahak, who is on season loan at Leicester from Sporting CP, was seen taking a nap in the gym after a training session with his club, clearly exhausted from training.

After that, Ndidi, who is known for his sense of humor, couldn’t help but have fun. In a video shared on social media, he playfully teased Issahak and asked “Did you come from Africa to sleep here?”

The comment woke the 19-year-old Ghanaian with a smile on his face as he realized he had been caught sleeping by the Super Eagles midfielder.

It is no exaggeration to say that Ndidi and Issahak are in top form at Leicester City, helping Enzo Maresca’s side to the top of the English Championship table.

Despite his impressive performance, Isahak was not selected for Ghana’s international friendlies against Mexico and the United States.

Nonetheless, he will be keen to be included in the Ghana squad for the 2023 African Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Ivory Coast.

Meanwhile, Ndidi remains a key figure for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, who are determined to win their fourth AFCON title in Ivory Coast.

After the draw with Saudi Arabia, Nigeria will face Mozambique in a friendly as part of their preparations for next month’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
