When Bumrah came to bowl in the 38th over, he used a flurry of slow balls to advance Maxwell and Marnus Labuscugange. The third ball of the over, bowled at 135km/h, was a dot ball. On the very next ball, the pacer hit Maxwell in the hip as the batsman hit a single. The penultimate pitch was a slow ball at 115 mph, from which batter Labuschagne scored.

Pacer delivered a sucker punch in his last broadcast. He aimed a pinpoint yorker at the base of the off stump at 141km/h. Maxwell tried to open the face of his bat but was succumbed to the pace and was bowled leaving him for five (7).

Australia achieved their target of 352 with a loss of 7 wickets. This is her highest ever ODI total in Rajkot.
