Virat Kohli has revealed that his wife Anushka Sharma has given birth to his second child in posts on social media.
Kohli canceled the ongoing India-England Test series due to personal reasons and later announced the addition of a new member to his family.
“Our hearts are full of love as we are so happy to announce to you all that we welcomed our baby brothers Akaai and Vamika into this world on February 15th!” Kohli’s Personal Graphic posted article based on social media handles:
“We ask for your blessings and good wishes at this wonderful time in our lives. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
Kohli has already taken paternity leave and missed the last three Tests of the 2021-22 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Reacting to this news, he received compliments and congratulations from across the cricket world.
