Victor Osimhen: Former AC Milan ace blames Super Eagles star’s agent after Napoli’s Tiktok blunder

Tensions between Scudetto winner and most valuable player won’t be resolved soon

Former AC Milan defender Daniele Dino has criticized Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda for tweeting on social media threatening Napoli over the club’s failures, Soccernet.ng reported.

Napoli caused an uproar on Tuesday when the club’s official Tiktok account posted a video mocking Osimhen after he missed a penalty against Bologna.

Osimhen, along with other Napoli players, called for a penalty after a Bologna defender handled the ball inside the penalty area, setting up the Nigerian striker to score.

The referee awarded a penalty, but Osimhen sent a shot wide of the target from 12 meters. Napoli settled for a goalless draw in the dying minutes as the Serie A champions lost two valuable points.

Osimhen’s late-game confrontation with head coach Rudi Garcia grabbed headlines, but Napoli’s Tiktok failure is likely to lead to relegation.

The club later deleted the offensive video, but this did not stop Osimhen’s agent Kalenda from voicing his displeasure.

Calendar, in a tweet posted on Tuesday night, suggested that Osimhen’s aides are considering legal action against Napoli due to the derogatory nature of the video.

However, former AC Milan and Napoli defender Dino believes Calender is trying to destroy the relationship between Osimhen and Napoli.

Instead of posting on social media, Dyno says top agents would have contacted the club from the beginning.

“An agent at a certain level contacts the club. Certainly he does not tweet like that.” According to Tutto Napoli newspaper, Dyno said: “Everything is done to cause confusion. I think so,” he told Sportitalia.

Apart from his agent’s threatening tweets, Osimhen also expressed his anger towards Napoli through a Tiktok video.

The 24-year-old has deleted almost all of Napoli’s photos and videos from his Instagram account.

The former Lille striker’s page is currently filled with mostly personal photos and photos from his time with the Super Eagles.
