KKR had missed the Ranas, Nitish and Harshit, to injuries, but both have returned to the nets. Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan will miss the match for LSG, which may – or not – result in Shamar Joseph’s long-awaited IPL debut.
Mumbai Indians have returned to winning ways. Their batting has looked dangerous, especially at home, and the Chennai Super Kings have a difficult job on their hands. There is no update on Deepak Chahar’s recovery, but Matheesha Pathirana may be back for CSK.
