Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala dedicates Barcelona goals to late award-winning rapper

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has paid tribute to the late Nigerian singer, Ireli-Oluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known by his stage name Mohabado, Soccernet.ng reported.

Oshoala scored her first two goals of the season against Granada on Saturday, giving the Barcelona women’s team an impressive 6-1 victory.

In memory of Mokhbado, who passed away in controversial circumstances on September 12, Oshoala dedicated two of his goals to the artist. Police are currently investigating his death.

In the 80th minute of the match at the Johan Cruyff Stadium, Oshoala scored his first goal of the match, making it Barcelona’s fifth goal.

In a heartfelt celebration, she unveiled a vest with the image of Moffbad, affectionately known as “Imol”, underneath her jersey.

Oshoala, who has three goals in five league games this season, had a great year last season, scoring a career-high 21 goals.

Their performance helped Barcelona win the Primera División Femenina for the third time since Oshoala joined the team in 2019.
