OGC Nice previously secured the signing of Nigerian international Terem Moffi, who established himself as an outstanding striker at the Allianz Riviera – Nice Stadium.
Super Eagles striker Moses Simon is attracting interest from three Ligue 1 clubs as his contract with FC Nantes expires in 2024, reports Soccernet.ng.
The Nigeria international joined the Nantes-based club on a four-year contract in 2020, but there is no sign of a contract extension, suggesting a departure is imminent.
Fabrizio Romano’s report, cited by Foomercato, suggests that Moses Simon will be an important player to watch in the winter or summer transfer window of 2024 when his contract expires.
According to Romano, Ligue 1 powerhouses Olympique Lyon, OGC Nice and LOSC Lille are actively monitoring the winger and preparing for a potential battle for his signature.
Furthermore, Saudi Pro League clubs have also expressed interest and are inquiring about the terms of a possible deal.
“Moses Simon is a player to watch in 2024 as his contract expires in June.” According to @foomercato, he’s more than just an OL. I hear that OGC Nice and Lille are also interested in the Nigerian player. Clubs in Saudi Arabia have also asked about possible contract terms,” Romano explained on X (formerly Twitter).
The Super Eagles star scored 29 goals and provided 31 assists in 161 appearances for Nantes, proving his worth to potential clubs eyeing his talent.
