Moffi in, Orban out; Dele-Bashiru gets maiden Super Eagles call-up ahead of Saudi Arabia, Mozambique games

The squad for the Super Eagles’ matches against Mozambique and Saudi Arabia later this month has been announced

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced its 25-man squad for the international friendly match between Saudi Arabia and Mozambique later this month, Soccernet reported.

Hatayspor star Fisayo Dele-Basil has had an impressive season with Turkish club Hatayspor, scoring four goals and providing two assists in seven appearances. This talent of the 22-year-old earned him a place in the team of his coach Jose Peceiro.

Ghent star Gift Orbán was not called up. Nice star Terem Moffi, who missed the last game against Sao Tome and Principe, was called up in his place. However, teammate Jordan his Tornaliga maintained his place in the team.

The usual suspects have been invited to the raid. Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi and Moses Simon will all remain in place.

According to the NFF, the camp will start on October 10th in Faro, Portugal. The game against Saudi Arabia will be played on October 13th, and three days later he will play against Mozambique.
