“Well, I think it was a break. As I said earlier, I couldn’t go to camp. It was a personal decision while taking care of my body. In the end, I decided to join the team. I want to. It’s an honour, and I want to be in the best possible shape to take part in important games,” the former Leicester defender told Nigeria Football.
She admitted that she used the time off to work on herself to give her best performance for the Super Falcons, adding that she is still a big supporter of the team.

“At the moment I have full faith in the team. I will watch the games while I am here, but I will try to play as much as I can and be at my best and give the team as much as I can. So, yeah, I’m hopeful, I don’t know when that will be, but hopefully as soon as possible.”
The Super Falcons will be without their starting left back for tomorrow night’s match against Cape Verde.
