India’s leading spinner Kuldeep Yadav has revealed how he prepared and planned for the wicket of Pakistan batsman Saud Shakeel in the match against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Kuldeep Yadav told the channel that he had watched a video of Saud Shakeel, adding that in it, the left-handed batsman tried to use a lot of sweeps and paddle shots, which gave him an advantage in the match. I didn’t want to try too hard in the game and wanted to keep it tight in the middle overs.
“I used to watch him (Shaquille) cleaning and paddling, so I tried to keep it wicket by wicket. Luckily, I got it,” he said.
