The second half of the sunshine double is almost upon us, with the Miami Open set for a blockbuster fortnight of tennis.

How can you watch the Miami Open?

Carlos Alcaraz will be the top seed in the men’s singles draw at the Miami Open once again, with the Spaniard potentially targeting the sunshine double ahead of the Indian Wells final later today.

However, the former winner will have to contend with the likes of defending champion Daniil Medvedev and two-time runner-up Jannik Sinner, who saw his 19-match winning streak come to an end at the hands of Alcaraz in Indian Wells.

Alcaraz and Medvedev are not the only previous Miami Open champions in the men’s singles field, with Hubert Hurkacz and Andy Murray also present.

However, six-time champion and world No.1 Novak Djokovic has elected to withdraw from the Masters 1000 tournament after suffering a shock early defeat to lucky loser Luca Nardi in California this week.

The top seed in the women’s singles draw is in a similar position to the aforementioned Alcaraz, with Iga Swiatek also participating in the Indian Wells final later today.

Swiatek won the Miami Open title as part of her incredible run to the sunshine double back in 2022, with former champions Venus Williams (1998, 1999 & 2001), Victoria Azarenka (2009, 2011 & 2016) and Sloane Stephens (2018) also looking to recreate previous successes at the tournament.

Williams is one of eight wildcards awarded for the women’s singles draw, that also features 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu, 2017 Miami Open finalist Caroline Wozniacki and the returning Simona Halep.

Halep is playing her first tournament since the 2022 US Open, after the former No.1 had her doping ban reduced from four years to nine months.

You can watch the Miami Open on Sky Sports Tennis in the United Kingdom or Ireland, and on Tennis Channel in the United States of America.
