Former England cricketer Owais Shah considered young Indian batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal to be the most threatening batsman in India’s current batting order. On the first day of the second Test against England at his ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam, the left-handed opener scored his 100th Test goal, putting India in a strong position.
Yashasvi Jaiswal also started the current second Test and has made the most of his opportunity in the Indian team. Unlike the first Test, the youngster did not play aggressively before changing gears.
The left-hander spearheaded India’s attack with the bat and scored in the second over of the day. The Mumbai-born batsman celebrated his maiden Test century in his homeland by hitting Tom Hartley for a six.
At the post-match press conference at Jo Cinema, Owais Shah praised Yashasvi Jaiswal’s brilliant knock against England in the second Test and highlighted his progress in international cricket, I believed that he is the most dangerous Indian batsman for England at the moment.

Yashasvi Jaiswal joined the Indian team after a fantastic IPL season with Rajasthan Royals and a domestic season with Mumbai. He impressed everyone with his fearless batting at the top of the order.
Early in the game, India won the toss and elected to bat first. Jaiswal and Rohit scored 40 for the first wicket while rookie Shoaib Bashir dismissed the Indian captain with 14.
Shubman Gill looked in good form but could not capitalize and was dismissed by James Anderson. He left after scoring 34 runs and contributing 49 runs with Jaiswal for the second wicket. On the first day, the left-handed batsman was a solid batsman in the first innings while other Indian batsmen batted around him.
