Gautam Gambhir’s controversial remark goes viral

Former Indian opener Gautham Gambhir made headlines with his on-air commentary during the India-Pak game. Gambir is known for his earlier comments denouncing MS Dhoni’s six-man win at the 2011 World Championships, saying, “Joe Arkli run banata hai, bahi jitata hai” (last The one who scored with a run of 2 wins) and made a bold statement.

On Saturday, the long-awaited Asian Cup match between India and Pakistan took place. It was the first one-day international (ODI) match in over four years between the two biggest rivals.

Unfortunately, the second half of the match was interrupted by rain, resulting in no results. Both teams earned 1 point each in this match. India will get a chance to join Pakistan by defeating Nepal in their second Group A match on Monday 4 September.

Gambhir’s remarks were prompted by a conversation about India’s three-wicket win over Pakistan in the 2010 Asian Cup match. Gautham Gambhir received praise from co-commentators for his important contribution. He scored 83 runs and was named Player of the Match.

However, Gamhill took the credit and claimed that it was Harbhajan Singh who scored the winning goal. He should be recognized as the winner of the match.

“Jitaya main nahi, jitaya, actually harbhajan sin netha.” was Harbhajan Singh. There was a partnership between Dhoni and myself, but “I think the real winner is whoever makes the last run,” Gambhir said.
