FIA compliance officers have issued a warning to Lance Stroll after he apologized for his actions at the Qatar Grand Prix.
The Canadian athlete spoke out in a letter to officials on Friday after the FIA’s compliance officer wrote to Aston Martin’s Stroll regarding his actions and conduct during the Qatar Grand Prix. I apologized.
The FIA Compliance Officer accepted the apology and warned Stroll of his actions. The Canadian was called up for verbally abusing his coach after being eliminated in Q1 at Friday’s Qatar Grand Prix. The trainer told him to head to parc fermé.

This Canadian is struggling to achieve good results and is having a difficult time. “We can confirm that the FIA Compliance Officer has received an apology from Lance Stroll for his actions during the 2023 FIA F1 Qatar Grand Prix,” the governing body said in a statement.
“The Compliance Officer takes note of this apology and issues a written warning to Lance reminding him of his responsibility as a participant to be bound by the FIA Code of Ethics and other FIA Ethics and Conduct Guidelines set out in the Sporting Regulations. We have a zero-tolerance policy against “misconduct” and condemn any conduct that could lead to physical harassment. ”
