Dana White Unconcerned About PFL’s Acquisition of Bellator
The merger of PFL and Bellator caused great excitement and positioned PFL as the largest organization in the world. During the post-fight press conference at UFC Austin, Dana White was asked her opinion on the PFL merger and replied, “It’s so funny.”
He also said, “A shitty organization that sells no tickets and no one watches buys another shitty organization that sells no tickets and no one watches. It sounds like that.”
Previously, PFL President Don Davis has expressed ambitions to expand the PFL’s influence beyond its current limitations and surpass MMA’s perennial powerhouse, the UFC.
Mr. White doesn’t seem worried about the merger because he doesn’t see any competition from other organizations. In his opinion, Bellator and his PFL merger are not a threat.
