Dana White and Triple H unite at Callum Walsh’s Ringside Showdown

Given the ringside guest list, Walsh’s win would have been even sweeter for the Irish. White is Walsh’s promoter and a leading candidate for UFC CEO. This is the first step for White, who has found success in the UFC business, to re-enter the world of boxing in his promotion.

Additionally, the UFC’s parent company recently acquired WWE, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see someone like Triple H join White at an event like this. WWE Chairman Nick Khan also attended the match at ringside.

Walsh benefits from signing Dana White. UFC Fight Pass aired his fight last night, with some of the biggest names in the sport behind it. Walsh trains with Freddie Roach and also has Tom Loeffler as a co-promoter. White speaks so highly of Walsh that he skipped last night’s UFC 295 press conference to attend the fight.

White has criticized boxing for years. The former UFC president and current CEO has frequently slammed the sport’s promoters, calling boxing a dying sport. But now, it appears White wants to join the boxing world.

And if the UFC CEO can bring in other big names in addition to talents like Callum Walsh, he could quickly become one of the sport’s biggest supporters. Only time will tell how far Dana White will push his boxing efforts.

What do you think about this connection? Do you think Dana White will get more serious about promoting boxing in the future?
