Daryl Mitchell rested for fifth Pakistan T20I, Rachin Ravindra returns
New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell will be absent from the fifth and final T20I against Pakistan in Christchurch tomorrow (January 21) to cope with his workload. Mitchell appeared in his first four matches and scored two goals with a half-century. Rachin Ravindra will replace him.
Dwarshuis atrributes BBL success to India experience
After beating Sydney Sixers with a career-best 5-21 against Brisbane Heat in the 2023-24 BBL final, pacer Ben Dwarshuis believes he has continued his good form in the T20I stint in India . In his BBL this year, he scored 16 goals in 10 games.
“In India, I really like the calm atmosphere of the current Australian team,” Dwarshuis said.
“It was easy to get used to, clearly define and execute the role. Traveling to India, a powerhouse in T20 cricket, and performing well there a few weeks before the BBL. That gave me a lot of confidence heading into the tournament.”
