Karun Nair (Northamptonshire)

Jaydev Unadkat (Sussex)

Unadkat, who was Pujara’s teammate in India’s Saurashtra and is currently at Sussex, found success here after a quiet performance against Durham. In his first innings he took 3 for 23 to beat Leicestershire for 108. In the second game he recovered with 6-94 as Sussex won a thriller by 15 runs. For them, only Ollie Robinson has had better innings and games this season.

Pujara will play under Unadkat in the Ranji Trophy, but the roles will be reversed in the County Championship.
