Osimhen formed a strong attacking partnership with Kviča Kvaratscheria, leading Napoli to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. Unfortunately, Guri Azzurri had to withdraw from the tournament due to Osimhen’s injury.
His impressive performance earned him nominations for the Ballon d’Or and the FIFA Best Award. Osimhen secured his eighth place in France’s Ballon d’Or rankings, becoming the first Nigerian footballer to rank in the world’s top 10.
