This makes Cazeau the first wild card player to reach the fourth round at the Australian Open since Lleyton Hewitt (2012).
The 21-year-old seems to be enjoying his performance, but he doesn’t seem completely satisfied yet. Of course it sounds great. But yeah, I’m focused on the next thing. I hope the tournament continues for me. I haven’t set any limits so I’ll see what happens. ”
He continued. “Yes, I know I can play at this level, but I’ll never prove it in a real match. Yes, I was confident, but being able to prove it in the first round gave me even more confidence.” , and now I know that I can beat this type of player in a real match. And now, once again, I was ready for everyone, and now in my head and playing. I was even more prepared.”

Cazeau will face No. 9 seed Hubert Hurkas on Monday, with both players aiming to reach the Australian Open quarter-finals for the first time.
And the world No. 108 revealed he was feeling no pressure ahead of the biggest match of his career. No, I work hard in my head and, like I said, I’m ready to fight anyone. I’m ready to fight in any match.
“You know, I’m here to give it my all on the pitch. Sometimes I play well, sometimes I play poorly. Sometimes I play well. You know, it doesn’t matter. No. As you know, the only thing that matters is to give everything on the pitch. These are my rules. I don’t feel any pressure anymore. ”
In the baseline…
It was a very impressive and surprising week for Arthur Cazeau, who had never even participated in an Australian Open qualifying match before. Given his success under the hood, it’s clear that the Frenchman will break into the top 100 for the first time in his career, and could even break into the top 60 if he beats Hubert Hurkas on Monday.
