India and Australia will begin a five-match T20I series immediately after the 2023 World Cup. Both teams have played each other 26 times in the shortest format, with India leading the way with 15 wins, while Australia has won 10.
Australia toured India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and two ODI series earlier this year, but did not play in the T20Is. His last T20I series between the two teams took place in September last year ahead of his T20 World Cup in 2022, with India winning her 2-1.
The five-match series begins just four days after the 2023 World Cup final and runs until December 3rd. The venues for all the five matches have been finalized and the fifth match at the latest will be shifted from Hyderabad to Bengaluru.
Australia have announced their squad for the five-match T20I series, while India are yet to announce.

The first match of the series will be played in the east coast city of Visakhapatnam followed by the second match in Thiruvananthapuram. For the third time, both teams will fly to the northeastern city of Guwahati before concluding the series in Nagpur and Bengaluru.
All five matches begin at 7:00 PM local time.
