Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus have identified Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman as a transfer target in the summer transfer window, Soccernet.ng reported.

Lookman has been steadily rising over the past two years. The Super Eagles star left Leicester City two years ago after the club refused to sign him at the end of his loan spell. He then returned to his parent club RB Leipzig, from where he made a permanent transfer to Serie A club Atalanta.

Lookman has made a good impression since moving to La Dea. Last season, the 26-year-old made 31 appearances in Serie A, where he scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists.

Lookman continued his impressive performances this season, helping Atalanta with seven goals and three assists in 18 appearances.

Lookman’s performance earned him selection in Nigeria’s AFCON squad and he rewarded Jose Peceiro’s faith by scoring three goals and one assist in five games.

In a similar development, Lookman is being targeted by Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus.

His current contract is for just over two years and his value is estimated at €30 million. However, if Lookman continues to perform well, Atalanta will likely demand more.

Lookman’s goal has propelled Nigeria into the AFCON semi-finals, but the Super Eagles do not know their opponent yet.
