The 14th edition of the Asian Games is set to begin on September 24, 2023 – here’s all you need to know about where to watch the cricket at the games, including the schedule, TV channels and streaming options.

The women’s cricket competition has already begun. The semi-finals are scheduled for this weekend (Sunday, September 24th). India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are the teams still competing in the women’s competition. The men’s competition has not yet started, but will begin next week (Wednesday, September 27).

The first round of the men’s competition will be held between Nepal, Mongolia, Japan, Cambodia, Singapore, Maldives, Thailand and Hong Kong (China). After this round, the four teams that win their matches will play against the seeded teams (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) in the quarter-finals.

Cricket became a sport at the 2010 Asian Games, with matches played in T20 format. In 2010, Bangladesh won the gold medal in the men’s competition, and in 2014, Sri Lanka won the gold medal. Cricket was not represented in the 2014 Asian Games.

Pakistan women won both competitions, defeating Bangladesh twice in the finals.
