Following Rohit Sharma, the UFC fighter was arrested for careless driving of a Lamborghini and was also fined for exceeding the speed limit.
India captain Rohit Sharma traveled from Mumbai to Pune in a Lamborghini Urus to play in the match against Bangladesh. He was twice caught speeding on the Mumbai-Pune expressway and was fined between Rs 4,000 and Rs 2,000. Shortly after the incident, a UFC fighter was arrested for speeding just before a fight scheduled for this weekend.

After Rohit Sharma, Derrick Lewis found himself in trouble for Over-Speeding
Sharma’s car exceeded the recommended speed by 10-15 kmph on the Mumbai-Pune expressway, where the speed limit is 100 kmph. Sharma reached speeds of 117 km/h and 105 km/h. As a result, Derrick Lewis was recently arrested for reckless driving.
He allegedly drove the Lamborghini at 136 mph in an area where the speed limit was only 80 mph. The complaint against Lewis alleges that he drove at excessive speed and changed lanes recklessly.
Derrick Lewis takes on Jaylton Almeida at UFC Fight Night. However, just before the match Lewis ran into trouble. He was given a $100 personal recognizance bond and released from custody on the day of his arrest. In contrast, Mr. Sharma was fined between Rs 2,000 and Rs 4,000.
Despite Luiz’s arrest, his match against Almeida in Brazil is scheduled for this weekend. The UFC has scheduled his fight night event for Ginaciodo in Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil on November 4, 2023.
