Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers are aiming to sign Viktoria Plzen striker Rafiu Durosinmi in the upcoming January transfer window, Soccernet.ng reported.

The former Box to Box FC player has scored nine goals for Plzen this season, including an incredible six goals in nine league games.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Wolves are actively scouting the young striker and were reportedly in talks with Pilsen about a possible move earlier this week.

The report further claims that the Czech side are demanding a transfer fee of £10 million for Durosinmi, and that negotiations regarding personal terms have not yet been concluded.

Before joining Karbina, Durosinmi started his football journey in Nigeria, specifically with Boxtbox FC. Due to his talent, he joined the top team in 2022 and in his debut season he got off to a great start, scoring 3 goals. One of his was against Slavia Prague.

In January 2023, Durosinmi signed a rental contract with Viktoria Plzen. After arriving on loan, he quickly integrated into the team, appearing in a friendly against Viktoria Plzen and is now a regular player at the club.

However, his impressive performances for the Czech team have attracted interest from Europe’s top clubs and Wanderers are ready to lure him to the Molineux Stadium.

Previous reports suggested Brighton were interested in the Nigerian striker. Meanwhile, Bundesliga clubs Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart are also monitoring Durosinmi’s situation, with the player reportedly leaning towards a move to Frankfurt in hopes of stepping up as a professional.
