On the other hand, O’Sullivan said: “I’m really looking forward to taking part in FP1 in Abu Dhabi. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the FW45 for the first time and log some good miles. I’ll also be taking part in the Rookie Test at the end of the season to continue growing with the team. I plan to get back in the car and would like to thank Williams Racing for the opportunity and for trusting me to drive the car in 2023.”

Colapinto added: “I am very grateful to Williams Racing for giving me the opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car during my first year at the academy.” I’ve been dreaming of this day. It’s really difficult. I am very honored to have been given this opportunity to take part in the official young talent test. I would like to thank the team for entrusting me with the FW45. Joining the Academy this year has opened my eyes in many different areas and I feel ready to take this step. I can’t wait. ”
