Chael Sonnen is one of the most outspoken people in MMA. The former UFC fighter has mastered the speaking aspect of the sport. However, he often supported it in the octagon. During his career, he had some classic fights with players such as Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and others.

Sonen fought 11 times in the UFC between 2009 and 2013. He won 6 of these 11 matches. But the two biggest fights of his UFC career were against then-champion Anderson Silva. And now the “bad guy” has a Brazilian tattoo on his arm and has made a surprising claim.

The former UFC fighter and title challenger accused /a> of getting a tattoo from a former opponent. He posted three photos of himself squeezing Silva’s right bicep with the caption: “I’m a man of my word.”
Fans’ reactions to this tattoo varied widely. Some people saw the funny side of it and made a few jokes about it. Some argued that it was definitely AI or Photoshop, since there’s no way Sonnen would do something like that. Others wonder why the “bad guy” had to get an Anderson Silva tattoo.
Sonnen did not explain why he got the tattoo. But Silva and Sonnen had the best pregame preparation we can remember. There were several altercations, and many possible deals were considered between the two parties based on the outcome of the fights.
So it’s no surprise that Chel Sonnen got a tattoo of Anderson Silva based on a bet with the Brazilian player. That might be because Sonnen lost both matches against the Brazilian. However, we won’t know for sure until Sonnen confirms it.
