Boniface only moved to the Bundesliga in the summer, but he has made a big impression
Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso revealed that he knew Victor Boniface was a top player when they played against Royal Union SG in last season’s Europa LeagueSoccer > reported.
Boniface has been a revelation for Bayer Leverkusen since joining in the summer. He has scored his nine goals and three assists for Werkself this season and has formed a great partnership with his teammates.
His talent has enabled Bayer Leverkusen to maintain an unbeaten record in the Bundesliga and currently sits in second place in the league behind champions Bayern Munich.
Xabi Alonso has been extremely impressed with the 22-year-old’s performances since his arrival. The former Real Madrid player said Werkself had been keeping an eye on the Eagles striker since last season.
