We are not scared of Cameroon– Super Falcons coach

Super Falcons assistant coach Justine Magudu has expressed that the 11-time Women’s African Cup of Nations winners are fully ready to face Cameroon, Soccernet.ng reported.

Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over Uganda after losing 0-2 to Crested Cranes at the FUFA Technical Center.

As a result, the Cameroon women’s team will face Nigeria’s Super Falcons, who defeated Ethiopia 5-1 on aggregate, in the next round of the 2024 Olympic qualification.

Magudu, who represented Waldrum in both games against Ethiopia, emphasized that the Falcons are not afraid of any opponent.

“Whoever comes our way, we are ready for him. To qualify for the Olympics, we have to play against the best teams and prepare well. “No,” he explained.

The 2018 COSAFA Women’s Championship runners-up have faced Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the past, winning once in their last five meetings in 2012.

Magudu further revealed that the Falcons are fully prepared for the upcoming matches and have developed a game plan to ensure victory in this important challenge.

“We will play Cameroon in the penultimate round and our plan is to secure a win and qualify for the final,” he added.

The Super Falcons will play Cameroon in the first leg of their Olympic qualifiers, followed by the second leg at home.
