Watch: Marizanne Kapp Takes Out Top Of Middle Stump With Hooping Inswinger To Beth Mooney | AUS W vs SA W

Watch: Marizanne Kapp took out the middle stump of Beth Mooney with a hooping inswinger in the second ODI of the three-match series in North Sydney.

Australia won the toss and elected the second ODI after winning the first ODI comfortably. They got off to a good start and were able to put aside South African captain Laura Wolvaardt in the first half of the match. However, things got difficult for the hosts from then on.

Almost the entire South African middle class rose up. South Africa finished with a healthy score of 229 wins and 6 losses after 45 overs after play was halted due to rain, but Kapp top-scored with 75 off 87 at number five.

Australia responded aggressively, adding 22 in four overs, but were queued up when their first wicket fell on the first ball of number five. Australia fell from 22-0 to 71-8.

Kapp first removed Healy and was forced behind the wicketkeeper, but two balls later an unplayable inswinger from the top of the wick to left-handed Beth Mooney took her middle stump. She looked confused.

In the next over, Cupp trapped Phoebe Litchfield-Pound to take her third wicket. After 15 overs, Australia’s score was 73-8 with Kim Garth and Ashley Gardner reaching the crease.
