Watch: Kieron Pollard took a stunning boundary catch with his right hand to dismiss Jahandad Khan in the PSL 2024 match between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings in Lahore on February 24.
After being sent into bat first, Qalandars took 3 for 85 after 12 overs. Mir Hamza, who had lost 1-8 after an opening knockout in his two overs, returned to the attack. His first two balls saw him score five, with Jahandad, who scored 12 off seven, scoring a strike.
Mir Hamza bowled the third ball of the 13th over and hit it slightly into the off-stump channel. Jahandad nearly goes over the ropes trying to slam Hamza to the ground. Pollard, who was guarding the long ball on the boundary, went into the air and the ball stayed in his right hand. He then threw it into the air and walked on the rope before firing a screamer.
Chasing 176, Pollard scored a 33-ball 58 to help Karachi win in a thriller match decided on the last ball.
