Watch: Enugu Rangers land in style as they tackle Remo stars in the second 2023-24 NPFL tie

Enugu Rangers, seven-time champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League, are set to take all three points in their match against Remo Stars.

Rangers International Football Club, popularly known as Enugu Rangers, surprised fans on social media with a grand gesture before leaving camp ahead of the NPFL match, reports Soccernet.ng I am.

Fidelis Ilechukwu’s team had Daniel Daniel as a prelude to their fans, who postponed last weekend’s game against Rivers United as Rivers United’s involvement in continental football could not be ruled out. They traveled to Ikenne to play against Remo Stars, coached by Ogunmodede.

The former Plateau United coach took charge of Rangers ahead of the 2023/2024 NPFL season and his fashion sense seems to have quickly made an impact on the players.

Fidelis, 45, is known for always wearing a suit on the sidelines, much like Remo Stars’ Daniel Ogunmodede.

The club’s official social media account posted a video of the players making a grand move just before departing from the Enugu camp.

Rangers secured all three points in their opening league game against Doma United. Goals from Kalu Nweke and Austin Onyemaechi gave Fidelis a lively start to his club’s start to victory over last season’s runners-up at home.

Meanwhile, Remostars coach Daniel Ogunmode, who finished second last season, urged his team to go one step further this season and give their all to win the league. Both teams will meet today at 4 p.m.
