Watch: Dhruv Jurel Ramps 91mph Mark Wood Bouncer For Six For First Test Boundary

Watch: India debutant Dhruv Jurel struck his first boundary in Test cricket, ramping a short ball from Mark Wood over the slips on day two against England in Rajkot today (February 16).

Jurrell, who made his debut in the third Test alongside Sarfaraz Khan, scored his first six points in the format, taking a throw from Wood past third man and into the middle. After leaving the field following a fall on the wicket of Kuldeep Yadav on Friday morning, Jurrell took 10 plays to reach the mark. He broke the shackles by defeating Wood with his audacious six-over slip in the 95th over of the innings.

The fourth ball was short and off stump, reading 90 mph on the speed gun. Jurel steps back and uppercuts the slip to score his 6 which proves your skill.

Early in the innings, fellow debutant Sarfaraz, after scoring an easy 66-ball 62 on debut, was dismissed for a mix-up with Ravindra Jadeja, and later apologized for asking for a run.
