Victor Boniface has established himself as an outstanding striker in the German Bundesliga since joining Bayer Leverkusen from Royal Union SG in the summer.
Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Mr. Funny or Sabinus, was spotted praising Victor Boniface, Soccernet.ng reported.
In a video shared on the comedian’s Instagram Story, Sabinas praised the soccer player after witnessing his talent for scoring goals in a soccer match.
Boniface had a great season at Bay Arena, scoring 11 goals and providing 6 assists in 16 appearances in various competitions.
The 22-year-old’s consistent talent earned him the title of “August Bundesliga Player of the Month” and back-to-back “Rookie of the Month” awards.
His outstanding performance in the Europa League earned him the award as top scorer, further highlighting his talent and increasing his reputation in Germany.
In the video, Sabinas praised Boniface, calling him “too good” in real life and in games, highlighting his outstanding skills.
The Super Eagles striker reshared the comedian’s video on his social media page and captioned it “My ogre at the top”.
Boniface, who played for Nigeria against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, will aim to continue his impressive form against Werder Bremen for Bayer Leverkusen.
