Soccernet.ng reported that manager Cyriel Dessars has revealed manager Philippe Clement’s vision to turn the team into a winning machine.
Dessers helped Rangers to a 2-0 win over Livingston, scoring the Light Blues’ first goal before James Tavanier converted a penalty to maintain Clement’s unbeaten start.
Although Tavernier missed a penalty in the first half and goals from Conor Goldson and Ross McCausland were canceled out, Dessers was pleased with his team’s performance.
In an interview with Rangers TV, the Super Eagles star emphasized the coach’s belief in the team’s strength and praised the first-half performance that made it difficult for Livingstone to win.

“Coach said we are a strong team in this league, but the way we played in the first half made it difficult for Livingston to get into the game,” Dessers said.
“We scored some goals that were disallowed, but despite the setbacks we kept moving forward and were rewarded with a good win.”
“It was a great pass into my goal from Tom Lawrence. He had already shown it this season with Rabbi Matondo’s goal at St Johnstone, so I knew he could do it. We knew.”
“When he got the ball, I started running. It was a perfect pass and I managed to score.”
“The coach’s style of play suits the characteristics of the team and our players, which is really good.”
“We’ve grown and gotten better over the last few weeks. I think this is just the beginning.”
“He wants us to become machines. Hopefully we can reach that standard.”
Rangers have won their last five games in all competitions, with Dessers scoring three goals in four league games.
