TV Channels, Live Streaming And Match Timings For Indian Premier League

The 2024 Indian Premier League will begin on March 22 and here’s where you can watch the IPL on TV and live streaming.

The 16th edition of the IPL will begin on Friday (March 22) with Chennai Super Kings hosting Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai. Defending champions CSK announced a new skipper a day before the start of the tournament, with Ruturaj Gaikwad replacing MS Dhoni at the helm.

Dhoni has led CSK in every season that he has been associated with the team. He had stepped down at the start of the 2022 season, with Ravindra Jadeja being named captain instead, but the former was reinstated midway through the tournament after Jadeja stood down.

This will be the first time that none of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Dhoni will lead a team in the IPL.

The schedule for the first half of the IPL has only been announced thus far with the State Elections scheduled to be held in India from April 19.

A total of ten teams are taking part in the tournament, with Mumbai Indians and Chennai winning the IPL five times each. Each side will play a total of 14 games in the league stages before the playoffs. The dates for the knockouts are not confirmed yet but the final is expected to be in the last week of May.
