Jose Peceiro will take charge of the Super Eagles in the 2024 AFCON after extending his contract with the Nigeria Football Association.
Super Eagles coach Jose Vitor Peceiro claimed that the friendly against Saudi Arabia would be a good test for them, Soccernet.ng reported.
Both teams will play tomorrow night to begin the international break game. A few days later, the Super Eagles will take on Mozambique’s Mambas.

Peseiro expressed his respect for Roberto Mancini’s team before the Nigeria vs Saudi Arabia Green Falcons match.
“They are a good opposition. They were the last team to beat Argentina, so I hope it will be a good game for our team. Hopefully we will be in the forefront during the game. If I can stand, then we can talk about the game against Mozambique,” the 63-year-old said in his pre-match press conference.
The Portuguese coach also made it clear that he hopes his team can overcome this challenge with a victory, even if it is a friendly match.
“Nigeria needs to qualify for the next World Cup, so they want to beat Saudi Arabia and Mozambique to qualify for the World Cup.”
Nigeria will play against Saudi Arabia tomorrow at 5pm W.A.T while Olorunleke Ojo and Adeleye Adebayo are expected to join the Portugal camp tomorrow.
