Tennis on TV next week and how to watch the Shanghai Masters, China Open and more!

A big week is coming up on the tennis calendar for both the ATP and WTA tours, with precious points on the line for a place in their respective year-end finals. We Tennis Heads would like to invite everyone to watch tennis on TV next week.

Chinese excitement will reach its peak next week when Shanghai hosts the ATP Masters 1000 tournament and Beijing hosts the WTA 1000 tournament, offering the best of both tours.

How to watch the Shanghai Masters (ATP 1000)?

The Shanghai Masters returns to the tennis calendar on Wednesday for the first time since 2019. Players such as Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Siner, and defending champion Daniil Medvedev will participate in the tournament.

The only previous winner of this event is Andy Murray. The three-time champion will make his 11th appearance in Shanghai next week.

How to watch the China Open (WTA 1000/ATP 500)?

Before players like Alcaraz, Sinner and Medvedev travel to Shanghai, they will continue to compete against each other in the top-tier ATP 500 event in the Chinese capital, Beijing.

The quarterfinals will take place tomorrow and the tournament will conclude on Wednesday, October 4th.

The ATP 500 China Open Final is available on Amazon Prime Video in the UK and on Tennis TV worldwide.

As the men’s tournament continues, the final WTA 1000 event of the year will also be held, with the return of world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and US Open champion Coco Gauff.

For players like Maria Sakkari, Ons Jabbar and Petra Kvitova, this is the last big chance to earn vital points to secure a spot at the WTA Finals in Cancun.

How to watch the Astana Open (ATP 250)?

The Astana Open is another ATP event in its final stages. The tournament in Kazakhstan will reach its climax on Tuesday, October 3rd.

Currently in the semi-finals, the lineup includes Sebastian Korda, Hamad Medjedovic, Adrian Mannarino and Sebastian Offner.
