Success is a key part of Udiense’s set-up this season and coach Giovanni Cioffi expects the Nigerian star to be fit
Super Eagles striker Isaac Success will be fit enough to rejoin the Udinese squad ahead of Saturday’s Serie A match against Inter MilanFootball. NGReport.
Success has been a key player for Udinese this season, appearing in 13 games in Serie A but only providing one assist.
Last weekend, he was named in the squad when Udinese hosted Hellas Verona at the Brunagy Stadium. However, he could only play six minutes, as Success replaced him with Lucas Lorenzo in the seventh minute. In the end the match ended with him 3-3.
The Nigeria national team player has a poor injury history, so there were concerns that he would be out for a long time. However, according to Fanta Calcio, the 27-year-old will be fit enough to play this weekend when Udinese travel to Inter Milan.
However, coach Cioffi may be cautious and may need to start from the bench to be successful.
Udinese currently sit 16th in Serie A and desperately need points to stay above the relegation zone. Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri will be looking to build on last weekend’s 3-0 victory over Napoli. Therefore, it promises to be an interesting duel.
