“Slowly But Surely”- Naseem Shah Gives Update On His Journey Back To Fitness After Shoulder Injury

Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah has given an update on his journey back to fitness after shoulder surgery. Naseem injured his shoulder during the Asia Cup match against India in September, forcing him to withdraw from the Asia Cup and then the World Cup.

Pakistan had a disastrous run in the World Cup, losing four consecutive matches after winning their first two matches. As they explained many times during the campaign, Naseem was a huge loss for them.

Hasan Ali replaced him in the World Cup squad and has had a decent record with eight wickets in the five matches so far, but Pakistan lacked the penetration that Naseem provided with the new ball .

Pakistan currently stands at 6th place in the points standings with 4 points from 6 games. She has been disappointed in her bowling, which has been her specialty in recent years.
