Samuel Chukwueze: AC Milan boss names two areas of improvement for Super Eagles winger ahead of Verona clash

As AC Milan prepare to face Hellas Verona in Serie A today, head coach Stefano Pioli called up Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze to help him adapt and improve. Soccernet.ng reported.

Pioli expressed his satisfaction with Chukwueze’s performance in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match against Newcastle United, but revealed he expects more from the talented Nigerian recruit.

Chukwueze, who recently joined the Rossoneri from La Liga side Villarreal, made his first start against Newcastle in midweek, but failed to make much of an impact and was replaced by Cristian just 61 minutes after replacing Pulisic. Ta.

The 24-year-old is yet to register a goal or assist in his five appearances for AC Milan.

Pioli commented on the team’s overall performance, highlighting Chukwueze’s contribution and highlighting areas where the Nigerian winger is expected to improve his game.

“I want Sam to be open. He’s used to cutting into the pitch,” Pioli told the media on Friday.
