The second match of the unofficial Test series will be held from December 26 to 29 at Willowmoor Park, Benoni. The opener ended in a draw with Prasidh Krishna scoring 5-43 and Shardul Thakur scoring 76 (98). The duo will not feature in the final as they are part of the Indian Test team for the two-match Test series starting December 26 in South Africa.
KS Bharat, who captained India A in the previous match, also joined the senior team as Ishan Kishan opted out of the series due to family reasons. Abhimanyu Easwaran replaced Ruturaj Gaikwad, who was ruled out due to a finger injury.
The start of the game was delayed due to rain.
